Case Study

01

Driven by curiosity

Jonah started his career in architecture and real estate.

As a student at Brown University, Jonah became fascinated with the Stata Art Center and wanted to speak to its architect, Philip Johnson, one of the most important figures in architecture history.

Jonah persistently called Philip Johnson’s office, ultimately gaining time with the legend and a job that summer at Architecture New York Magazine.

A unique drive and a personal approach change outcomes tremendously.

He soon became Program Manager of Real Estate Development at Skanska USA, and learned about top-tier design and the pursuit of excellence from legendary architect and designer Frank Gehry.

02

Designing impact at scale

Jonah then brought those skills to Frog Design, one of the world’s top industrial, brand, and digital design consultancies.

As a director and strategist, Jonah wanted to tell brand stories that mattered, with spectacle and impact.

He led multi-million dollar consulting engagements for Fortune 100 companies and built a $300 million consumer electronics business with Disney in partnership with Target, Sears, and Circuit City.

Creativity and boldness move the needle, not conformity and predictable choices.

03

The sock revolution

In 2004, he founded, built, and scaled LittleMissMatched, fostering creativity across the globe by selling socks in sets of three, and receiving global buzz for breaking with convention.

The idea for the company came from a joke Jonah heard at a dinner party, but he could see the real business potential within it.

Jonah created a completely new market, serving as co-founder and CEO with 97% compound annual growth for over 7 years.

By following a truly original idea and conceiving a beloved product, Jonah broke through the noise, gained real traction, and received coverage in international and industry publications.

In 2008, he sold majority ownership of LittleMissMatched to L Catterton Partners, the leading consumer-focused private equity firm, while serving as Chairman and CEO for three years afterward.

04

From strategy to spotlight

Turning growing buzz into powerful partnerships, Jonah then served as President and CMO of a division at Sears Holdings, where he led a start-up inside of the company and built celebrity partnerships with Adam Levine, Nicki Minaj, Tommy Hilfiger and more.

Jonah had an eye for the commercial concepts that would move the needle, and needed to navigate complexity to bring high-stakes partnerships to life.

Drawing on his leadership skills and strategic acumen, Jonah managed strong creative voices, competing corporate priorities, and multifaceted campaigns and launch events.

Truly great projects require deep collaboration, operational excellence, and bold creativity.

Global Leadership

He also gained public board experience, serving for 10 years as a Member of the Board of Directors at Lands’ End, in addition to advising private equity and venture capital firms.

With his experience leading and transforming categories and companies, Jonah joined senior leadership at Logitech and led one of the most disruptive product lineups within the company’s portfolio. During his 8.5 years at Logitech, he served in many roles, including General Manager of their Music Business, which included running the iconic Ultimate Ears Business.

He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area when he isn’t in Mendocino County, at the cabin he designed and built with his own hands.
