LittleMissMatched
LittleMissMatched, founded in 2003, is a girls’ lifestyle brand built on the philosophy that “nothing matches, anything goes.” Best known for selling socks in colorful mismatched sets of three, the company transformed a simple product twist into a broader brand world around individuality, creativity, and self-expression. The vertical brand expanded across apparel, accessories, bedding, baby, retail, and licensing partnerships, with distribution in owned retail, wholesale, online and direct mail, ultimately attracting tens of millions in growth capital from Catterton Partners (now L Catterton) in support of national expansion. The company subsequently sold to Delta Galil (DELG). Jonah is the Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO of LittleMissMatched.
Tension.
An entire category built on rules no one had bothered to question. Why did “matching” go unexamined for so long?
Action.
Built a mix-and-match lifestyle brand from zero — socks, apparel, bedding, experiential retail, licensing — scaled nationally, backed by L Catterton, sold to Delta Galil.
Clarity.
The constraint was never the product — it was the imagination applied to it. A category everyone assumed was commoditized was actually waiting to be reimagined around identity and self-expression.
